Man sought for leaving suspicious car at Crossroads Mall found by Bellevue police

Bellevue bomb squad investigates suspicious car

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Bellevue police have found Robert Frost of Colorado Springs and interviewed him about a suspicious vehicle left in the parking lot of Crossroads Mall.

The department tells KIRO 7 that mall security called around 8 a.m. to report a car with multiple cameras mounted on the inside and outside.

When officers arrived, they noticed the cameras were recording. Officers say they also found several cellphones inside the vehicle and concerning notes on the dashboard. The department wouldn’t elaborate as to what those notes said, but they were concerning enough to call out the bomb squad.

Police believe the cameras on the car were recording all night long.

According to Bellevue police, Frost is no longer a person of interest.
