Everett police recover drugs, gun, stolen motorcycle in arrest of known felon

Everett police recovered drugs, a gun, cash and a stolen motorcycle while arresting a known felon last Thursday, the Everett Police Department announced Wednesday.

On May 5, officers noticed the man riding a motorcycle with no license plates. Officers had been well-acquainted with the man, as he has a history of fleeing from officers and committing other crimes such as driving stolen vehicles and distributing drugs.

Officers waited for the man to park the motorcycle before taking him into custody for existing felony probable cause.

When officers searched the man, they found more than 400 fentanyl pills, methamphetamine and an illegally possessed Sig Sauer gun.

Officers also checked the VIN of the motorcycle the man was driving and found that it was stolen.
