SNOHOMISH, Wash. — If you like the sound of whispering wind and rustling leaves as you lose yourself in the corn rows, love the Seattle Kraken — or both — this activity might be for you.
This year, the design for the Stocker Farms corn maze will feature a Seattle Kraken theme. It will include a hockey helmet, puck with an anchor on it, the team’s logo and name, and the words “BORN OF THE SEA.”
Proceeds from the corn maze at the Snohomish farm will benefit Ronald McDonald House charities.
The farm has contributed part of its revenue to The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Washington and Alaska for the last several years.
The corn maze and farm will be open on the weekend of Sept. 17 and 18, and the following weekend, Sept. 24 and 25, before opening daily starting Oct. 1.
Tickets are available on the Stocker Farms website.
The Kraken’s 2022-23 season begins on Sept. 26 with a preseason game against the Edmonton Oilers at Climate Pledge Arena.
The regular season starts with a road game against the Anaheim Ducks on October 12.
