SEATTLE — The Seattle Fire Department (SFD) extinguished a commercial kitchen fire at the Cheesecake Factory downtown at 7th Avenue and Pike Street, SFD posted on X.
Seattle Fire says no one was injured and over 100 firefighters responded to the scene.
After crews went inside the building, they saw that the fire had started in the kitchen but spread into the building’s ventilation system.
Crews extinguished the fire and worked for hours to clear the smoke out of the building using a mobile ventilation unit.
