Shooting in SODO (Seattle Police Department)

Seattle Police arrested a 23-year-old man in Auburn on Thursday in connection with a series of drive-by shootings in Seattle, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The man was apprehended at a residence in the 2800 block of 34th Avenue in Auburn.

The arrest follows investigations into multiple incidents.

On January 10, the driver of a stolen white Dodge SUV and a white Jaguar SUV allegedly threatened people along Aurora Avenue North.

Gunfire was exchanged between the Dodge and a gold Volkswagen.

The Dodge driver and passenger then pursued and shot at two other vehicles.

On January 12, the same Dodge SUV was involved in a drive-by shooting at a south Seattle apartment complex.

The suspect displayed a firearm, fired four shots into the air, and then left the scene.

Detectives identified the 23-year-old Auburn man as the suspect.

During the arrest, they recovered evidence, including the stolen Dodge SUV and a firearm.

He was booked into King County Jail for investigation of assault, drive-by shooting, and possession of a stolen vehicle.
