As we move into our seventh PinPoint Weather Alert Day Wednesday morning, lingering snow, slush, and icy conditions caused power outages to approximately 20,763 customers across Western Washington.
As of 9 a.m., Puget Sound Energy reported 78 outages, impacting 19,441 customers.
Earlier this morning, Seattle City Light (SCL) responded to an outage in the Lake Forest Park area that affected 3,900 customers. By 7 a.m., that number had dropped to 534 customers as power was restored to most customers in the Lake Forest Park area. According to SCL, the cause for the outage was heavy, wet snow on trees and vegetation.
As of 9 a.m., 557 Seattle City Light customers are without power.

Across Western Washington, almost 30,000 customers were without power.
