A 52-year-old man with a history of drug offenses was arrested Thursday afternoon for allegedly selling fentanyl to undercover officers.
The operation was part of a street-level narcotics emphasis conducted by the Lacey Police Department’s Community Resource Unit (CRU) and bike team.
Within 42 minutes, officers successfully arranged a purchase of fentanyl from the suspect.
The suspect, who has multiple prior convictions for drug delivery, was arrested and booked for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Upon his arrest, officers located more fentanyl and seized $400.
