SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash. — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) says they found a 70-pound tortoise on the side of a roadway on Tuesday.
The tortoise was seen walking down the road in Snohomish County and was very vocal when a deputy picked it up.
Bodycam video posted online shows the deputy carrying the tortoise back to its pen away from the roadway.
“You’re very hard to carry,” the deputy said to the tortoise.
