SEATTLE — Three people were killed, and four others were injured during a mass shooting at the Seattle Center on Sunday evening.
All seven people were hit by bullets, including a 2-year-old child who was hurt and taken to the hospital.
One suspect was taken into custody immediately following the shooting, but police say they are still looking for at least one other suspect.
Around six hours after the shooting took place, the Seattle Police Department held a press conference to share details about the shooting, victims, and suspects. Seattle Assistant Police Chief Tyrone Davis said that at least two suspects appeared to be shooting at each other, and he described the detained person as “young.”

Police say two guns were recovered from the scene. According to the department, officers are still looking for the second person Monday morning, but don’t believe there is an immediate threat to the public.
Reports of gunshots first came in around 6 p.m. The shooting happened right outside the Seattle Armory during the annual Bite of Seattle food and music festival.
Deaths and injuries
According to SPD Assistant Police Chief Davis, seven people were shot at the event. Two people, a 19-year-old man and a 44-year-old man, were confirmed dead at the scene. A third, a 56-year-old woman, later died at the hospital.
Four others were hurt, including a two-year-old boy, a 39-year-old woman, a 23-year-old man, and a 27-year-old man with a range of injuries to their arms, legs, abdomens, and lower legs, according to Seattle Fire.
As of Monday morning, Harborview Medical Center (HMC) confirmed that only one patient was still admitted at the hospital, the toddler, who was in satisfactory condition.
The other two victims who were taken to HMC, the 39-year-old woman and the 23-year-old man, have been discharged. In addition, a 27-year-old man who arrived at UW Medical Center – Montlake in satisfactory condition has also been discharged.
Information and reward
The police department is asking for any witnesses to come forward.
On Monday morning, the Youth Peace & Justice Foundation announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of any outstanding suspect(s) connected to Sunday’s deadly shooting.

Closures & other impacts
The Seattle Center Monorail has confirmed that service is shut down for the remainder of Sunday. It will resume Monday at 7:30 a.m.
According to a post on Facebook, the Pacific Science Center said it will be closed Monday, and all general admission shows are canceled, and guests will be refunded.
