SOUTH SEATTLE — Almost 4,000 customers experienced power outages in the Rainier Valley area on Sunday afternoon.
According to Seattle City Light, a tree branch came down on a powerline and knocked out power to much of the area.
Crews worked quickly however, and as of 8:30 p.m., only 211 customers were reported to be without power.
The cause is still being investigated, and crews will remain working on scene until the situation is resolved.
