A 2.6 magnitude earthquake hit near Sammamish Friday afternoon, according to the USGS (United States Geological Survey).
The quake happened around 4:56 p.m. with its epicenter 1.8 miles southeast of Sammamish.
The earthquake’s depth was about 11.9 miles.
