Foo Fighters, Death Cab for Cutie to play Climate Pledge

SEATTLE — In a surprise announcement, the Foo Fighters and Death Cab for Cutie are playing a ‘private’ benefit show prior to the official opening day show, according to a representative at the Climate Pledge Arena.

‘A New Way Home Foo Fighters Benefit Concert with Death Cab For Cutie’ is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 19, three days before Coldplay on Oct. 22.

Tickets for Foo Fighters and Death Cab for Cutie are available at Ticketmaster and become available for purchase with a code from their respective fan clubs.

The Foo Fighters, formed in Seattle in 1994, following the suicide of Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain, have won 12 Grammy Awards.

Death Cab for Cutie, formed in Bellingham in 1997, after meeting each other at Western Washington University.
