While only minor injuries were reported, WSDOT says special care was being taken to prevent the spill of any potential remnants the tanker was carrying.
The crash was first reported around 6:30 a.m., blocking the three right lanes.
By around 9 a.m., the collision was cleared, though travelers were told to continue to expect delays through the Fife and Tacoma area while traffic cleared up.

A black sedan made an unsafe lane change and struck a pickup truck, causing the pickup truck to rotate into a semi trailer. Thankfully this resulted in no injuries! What a crazy outcome. pic.twitter.com/KA0YNCE9wl
