BELLEVUE — A bicyclist was killed after colliding with a car near Interstate 90 in Bellevue this morning, according to the Bellevue Police Department.
The crash happened at around 6:35 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of NB Bellevue Way SE and SE 30th Street.
Despite aid from first responders, the bicyclist passed away at the scene, police confirmed.
Bellevue PD says officers confirmed the driver remained at the scene of the crash, and they do not suspect the driver was impaired.
The intersection of Bellevue Way SE and SE 30th Street was closed for several hours as Bellevue PD’s Traffic Unit investigated.
