SEATTLE — The Washington State Patrol (WSP) says a 30-year-old man was hit and killed early Wednesday morning while walking across the southbound lanes of I-5 in Seattle.
The man was hit at 1:15 a.m. after walking from the right shoulder to the left shoulder of I-5 near Yessler Way.
An oncoming car hit the man who was pronounced dead the scene.
The 48-year-old driver was injured and treated at the scene but did not need to be taken to the hospital, Seattle Fire said.
