OLYMPIA, Wash. — The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a car that hit a person and their dog before driving away from the scene.
The crash happened Thursday night at Yelm Highway SE and Donovan Drive SE, near Grace Community Covenant Church in Olympia.
According to Sheriff Sanders with TCSO, the person hit has serious injuries, and the dog was killed.
Sheriff Sanders says the car involved may be a gray Kia-like sedan.
The investigation is ongoing.
