Plan ahead for full weekend closures of NB I-405 in Bothell

405 Bothell construction

BOTHELL, Wash. — Drivers should gear up for another weekend of closures on Interstate 405.

Starting at 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, through 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9, northbound I-405 will close in Bothell, from SR 522 to SR 527.

A detour route will be in place.

People traveling northbound throughout the region should expect heavier traffic and longer travel times on northbound I-5 and through Bothell as drivers shift their routes during the closure.

A detour route will be in place.

The following northbound I-405 ramps will also close:

  • Northeast 128th Street on-ramp
  • Northeast 132nd Street on-ramp
  • Northeast 160th Street on-ramp
  • SR 522 on-ramps
  • Northeast 195th Street on- and off-ramps (Exit 24)
  • SR 527 off-ramp (Exit 26)

“During the full closure, crews will remove a portion of the pedestrian bridge at the Canyon Park Park and Ride as part of the I-405/Brickyard to SR 527 Improvement Project,” the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) wrote.

The Canyon Park Park and Ride will also temporarily close during this time.

Pedestrians needing to cross I-405 can take Community Transit routes 106 or 120 or follow signs for the temporary construction shuttle.

All bus stops at the park-and-ride will close for the weekend. Bus services will run along scheduled routes with alternative pick-up and drop-off locations.
