17-year-old shot as police search for suspects and more victims in West Seattle

WEST SEATTLE — One victim has been found in a shooting in Roxhill Park in West Seattle, Seattle Police (SPD) confirmed in a post on X.

According to the Seattle Police Department, at about 2:37 p.m., 911 dispatch received a call about four males that were reportedly shooting at each other at Roxhill Park.

When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old boy with two gunshot wounds to the torso.

According to the Seattle Fire Department, the 17-year-old boy was transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

An 18-year-old who was in the car with the 17-year-old was detained by police for questioning.

Officers are actively searching the area for possible additional victims or suspects, SPD says.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area if possible.
