Police seek witnesses, footage in fatal Puyallup pedestrian collision

The Puyallup Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance as they investigate a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred in early December.

At approximately 10:58 p.m. on December 7, 2024, a white 2016 GMC Yukon struck a pedestrian in the 2400 block of South Meridian in Puyallup.

The pedestrian succumbed to injuries from the crash, while the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Investigators are working to determine what led to the collision and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Police are particularly interested in witnesses or those who may have video footage from the area, such as dashcam or security camera recordings, at the time of the crash.

“Even seemingly minor details can provide valuable insights,” the department emphasized in its statement.
