Loved ones at a loss of words after the body of 22-year-old woman was found in SODO last week.
The King County Medical Examiner identified the woman as Maddison Draveling of Seattle. She was found behind a building on 6th Avenue South.
Police are investigating her death as suspicious.
“Just to come over here and say a silent prayer for her,” said James Walker, a friend of Maddison.
Walker told KIRO 7 he knew Draveling for several months. He still can’t believe she’s gone.
“Whoever did that to her didn’t know her at all,” Walker said.
Draveling’s family told KIRO7 it’s too soon for them to talk about this tragedy.
They’ve setup a GoFundMe to help with funeral costs.
Family described her as a kind and caring person who touched so many lives.
Walker says he couldn’t agree more.
“Full of a lot of love and she liked to help and I just don’t see who would do that. There’s, there’s monsters out here and it trips me out how we can’t see him type deal.”
Homicide investigators are still trying to figure out what led up to her death.
Walker says he’s on edge and wants to find out what really happened to her.
" I just hope that she gets her justice,” he said.
Police say there have been no arrests made in Draveling’s death.
