ISSAQUAH-HORBART, Wash. — State Route 18 was closed for hours after a semi rolled over near the Tiger Mountain Summit.
On Saturday morning, a semi rolled over State Route 18 near the Tiger Mountain Summit and Issaquah-Hobart Road Southeast, closing the road in both directions.
The semi broke through the guardrail and landed on its side in a ditch.
The road barriers had to be moved to make room for the tow truck to pull the semi out.
Once the semi was towed away, WSDOT began repairs on the guardrail.
By 4:34 p.m., SR-18 opened to alternating traffic but the full reopening of the road was not known as work on the guardrail continued, WSDOT said.
The cause of the rollover was not immediately known but WSP is investigating.
WSP said that no one was injured.
No information was provided on whether the semi was loaded and what it could have been carrying.
