SEATTLE — A semi-truck traveling southbound on Interstate 5, just north of Northgate at 85th, was hit by a sedan attempting to change lanes Wednesday.
The driver of the sedan crashed into the semi-truck, breaking the semi-truck’s axle, and causing the truck to swerve through the barriers and into northbound traffic.
According to the Washington State Patrol, it was a miracle no one was killed.
In fact, the WSP said no vehicles were hit on the northbound side.
There were minor injuries in the sedan, as two adults and two children suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
By around noon, the semi-truck and any major traffic disruption had been cleared.
