Lanes on I-5 in Olympia reopen after semi loses control in wet conditions

Semi crash in Tacoma (Washington State Patrol)

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) all lanes have reopened of southbound I-5 near Olympia after a semi-truck jackknifed.

Troopers with Washington State Patrol say it had two unloaded trailers and lost control while going around a curve in the wet roadway.

It crashed into a concrete barrier separating the north and southbound lanes.

No one was hurt.

Traffic was being diverted to US-101 for awhile.

Crews have moved the semi and are now working to clean up the spilled fuel and remaining debris.

The lanes were closed for several hours.
