TACOMA, Wash. — The Tacoma Police Department (TPD) is investigating a fatal shooting in South Tacoma on Sunday afternoon.
TPD confirmed one man is dead and another man is in critical condition.
Police responded to the shooting, which happened near an alley between South Warner Street and South Puget Sound Avenue near the Tacoma Cemetery, at around 3 p.m.
Even though the suspect or suspects are still at large, Tacoma police said they don’t believe there’s a greater danger to the public.
Officers are still investigating what led up to the shooting.
