Cal Raleigh’s record-setting season continues to make history as the Mariners go into Game 2 of the American League Championship Series against the Toronto Blue Jays.

After winning Game 1, the Mariners look to take a 2-0 lead into Seattle for the next 3 games.

The winner of this 7-game series will face the Brewers or the Dodgers in the World Series.

3:42 p.m. - Top of 5: Arozarena singles, advances to 2nd on throwing error. On the throwing error, Suárez, who was sitting on the ground near the dugout, was hit in the back with the ball. Blue Jays manager Schneider told the umpires that since Suárez was hit, the ball was out of play and Arozarena should not have been able to advance. Schneider’s appeal was denied. Raleigh intentionally walked, runners on 1st and 2nd. Louis Varland replaces Trey Yesavage. Rodríguez strikes out. Polanco home run! Mariners up 6-3. Naylor strikes out. Suárez strikes out.
