4 people hurt in Everett shooting

EVERETT, Wash. — Four people were taken to the hospital after an overnight shooting in Everett.

Just after 11 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to reports of multiple gunshots on West Casino Road near 8th Avenue West, according to the Everett Police Department.

When officers arrived, they found two men with gunshot wounds. Officers gave them medical treatment until Everett Fire Department medics arrived and took the victims to Providence Hospital.

Witnessess told officers they heard several rounds fired in the area by suspects who appeared to leave the area before police arrived.

K-9s and the King County Sheriff’s Office Guardian 1 helicopter were used to search for the suspects, but none were found.

Numerous shell casings were found and collected as evidence.

Two more people with gunshot wounds arrived at Providence Hospital in private vehicles.

All of the people who were being treated were stable.

Police said three of the people involved knew each other but their relationship is under investigation.
