NORMANDY PARK, Wash. — Multiple fire agencies responded to a two-alarm house fire in Normandy Park early Friday morning.
According to fire officials, the house caught fire in the 18500 block of Normandy Terrace SW.
“The fire extended into the roof structure, which contained rigid foam insulation. Firefighters used chainsaws to open up the roof in order to extinguish the fire,” reported fire officials.
According to the firefighters, it took them more than 90 minutes to extinguish the fire and hotspots, but no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
King County Fire District 2 and Puget Sound Fire crews responded, alongside King County Medic One and Zone 3 Fire Cadets.
